Easter Egg Hunt

Reception, Year 1 and 2 all enjoyed working together for an Easter egg in the Wilderness...we also loved eating the eggs!

Attendance Celebration!

Well done for these children for excellent or 100% attendance this term!

Easter Labyrinth

This afternoon we have done lots of different activities with Year 2 to remind us of the Holy Week.

We made palm leaves for Palm Sunday, we ate bread and 'wine' (actually squash), as well as washed each other's feet just like Jesus did on Maundy Thursday, we made wooden crosses and hot cross cookies for Good Friday and moving peg tombs for Easter Sunday.

What a fantastic afternoon!!

Blind taste testing

We made two smoothies; one with spinach and one without. Mrs Harding blindfolded us to see if we could taste the spinach...most of us couldn't!

How much sugar are you eating?

We weighed out the sugar content of our favourite snacks and drinks using kitchen scales. We were quite surprised how much sugar is in our food!
